The main objective of the monograph prepared as part of a project funded by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic has been mapping and increase knowledge about the process of family integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs), i.e. Ukrainians, Vietnamese, and Russians into the majority society of the Czech Republic with regard to their socio- cultural characteristics and the role of women in the integration process. As part of the methodology an empirical survey was conducted on a sample of 1,219 respondents surveyed in seven selected regions of the Czech Republic, namely in the Capital City of Prague, Central Bohemia Region, Pilsen Region, South Moravian Region, Usti Region, Hradec Kralove Region, Moravian-Silesian Region. Research outputs have been enriched and deepened by knowledge acquired via secondary analysis of available relevant sources. The project also included a design of appropriate measures to promote and strengthen the family integration process of third country nationals into the majority society of the Czech Republic with regard to women as the bringer of culture in the integration process.
