| Description: | An aim of the project is to identify an extent, preconditions and variability of the provision of day-care services for preschool and early-school-age children. As to the first group the project focuses on improvement of statistical data by characteristics of activities and availability of nurseries and kindergartens as well as on deeper knowledge of non-institutional forms of child-care. In case of school-age children the after school caring activities of schools will be characterized. An analysis will result in recommendations concerning availability and variability of the services. The research strategy considers social, health, economic and legal aspects of the topic. In order to value both the demand and the supply side of the child-care system the project deals with three spheres: recipients of services, providers of services and system and organizational conditions for providing services. |
